My Insane Remote Control Tank Build in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!
Okay, so I just had to share this because my mind is still blown. As a hardcore Tears of the Kingdom player since its 2023 launch, I thought I'd seen it all. The crazy builds, the physics-defying machines, the Godzilla replicas... but then I discovered a little-known trick that changed everything. I built a fully functional, remote-controlled tank. And let me tell you, it's as epic as it sounds.

It all revolves around this super niche glitch the community calls the "Fuse Entanglement Glitch." I know, fancy name. But the effect is pure magic. Basically, you can trick the game into thinking a Zonai device is fused to your shield when it's actually just lying on the ground. The key is spamming a specific button sequence while trying to fuse an item, causing it to fail and drop. The game gets confused and still registers a connection.
Here’s the game-changer: fuse-entangle a Steering Stick to your shield. Suddenly, you can control any vehicle you've built from a crazy distance, as if you were sitting in the driver's seat! The applications are endless:
-
🚁 Remote control drones
-
🚗 Self-driving cars
-
And of course... my personal favorite, the RC Tank.
Building the tank itself was a project. I went all out with Zonai devices:
-
Big Wheels for mobility
-
Construct Heads for auto-targeting
-
Beam Emitters and Cannons for firepower
-
A whole lot of batteries (because this thing is a power hog!).
The result? A rolling fortress of destruction I can pilot from the safety of a nearby cliff. Seeing it plow through Bokoblin camps, automatically aiming and firing, is incredibly satisfying. It's the ultimate safe-clear strategy for those pesky enemy hordes. No more risking hearts!
But a word of caution – it's not perfect. Even with maxed-out batteries, the runtime is short. My glorious tank only operates for about a minute before everything powers down. Still, in that minute, you can cause an unbelievable amount of chaos. Most enemy groups don't stand a chance.
This glitch is a perfect example of why I'm still playing Tears of the Kingdom in 2026. Nintendo's physics and building systems are so deep, we're still finding new ways to break and bend the rules years later. It's a sandbox that keeps on giving. I heard they even used this game to teach engineering in some college courses – how cool is that?
It makes you wonder what's next for Zelda. The producer, Eiji Aonuma, said the next game probably won't be a direct sequel to Tears of the Kingdom. Since we got six years between Breath of the Wild and Tears, we might be in for another wait. Maybe we'll finally see those rumored remakes? Who knows!
For now, I'm content right here in Hyrule, discovering new tricks. If you haven't tried the Fuse Entanglement Glitch yet, you're missing out on a whole new layer of gameplay. Trust me, building your own remote-controlled army is worth the effort. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a tank to fine-tune. Happy building, everyone! 👑 #TearsOfTheKingdom #Zelda #GamingGlitch #EngineeringGame
